The Yerevan Center for International Education (YCIE) was founded in 2022 in Armenia to support and develop intellectual exchange between scholars, researchers, and citizens.

YCIE is a platform for the development of research and educational practices, and the implementation of scientific projects in the fields of social sciences and humanities. The Center’s activities are aimed at a wide audience, including international and local students in higher education, as well as individuals preferring nonformal and informal education for short-term skill enhancement and lifelong learning.

Over the two years since its foundation, YCIE has organized and supported 3 international conferences, 7 intensive courses and 67 public events (public lectures, workshops, film screenings, book presentations, reading circles, and other activities). The Summer School “Societies And Cultures Torn Apart: Conflict And Cohesion” is the most ambitious event organized to date and hopefully, it will become an ongoing event and an important component of the Center’s long-term development plan.

WE VALUE:

Bringing together science, education and society.
