“Center for International Education of the European University at St. Petersburg” (E-Center) invites to a meeting with Svetlana Lavrova, a specialist in the management of the non-profit sector, advisor to the Rector of the European University at St. Petersburg, director of one of the largest endowments* in Russia – the EUSP Foundation.

In an informal atmosphere of dialogue between the speaker and audience, we will talk about the organization and management of non-profit projects, and how a sustainable financial basis for such initiatives is provided. Svetlana will speak about the experience of the endowment fund of the European University and why fundraising is not just a collection of donations, but a management concept.

If you work in the non-profit sector or just have plans to create a foundation, at our meeting you will be able to communicate with the expert and find support among like-minded people.

The meeting will take place on the shortest day of the outgoing year – December 22 at 19:00 in Yerevan, 31/4 Charents str.
Pre-registration is obligatory:

*In simple terms, an endowment is a fund with money set up to provide long-term support for a particular nonprofit organization or cause. Endowed funds differ from others in that the total amount of the gift is invested. Each year, only a portion of the income earned is spent while the remainder is added to the principal for growth. In this respect, an endowment is a perpetual gift.
