Biography
Naira Sardaryan is the Executive Director of the Yerevan Center of International Education (YCIE), bringing over a decade of experience in international development, education, and youth policy. Naira holds a Master’s degree in Conflict Studies and Migration and her academic and professional interests lie in conflict studies, with a particular research focus on The Troubles in Northern Ireland, and broader themes of peacebuilding, migration, and post-conflict recovery.
Previously, Naira held leadership, programmatic, and advisory positions with the Council of Europe, Action Against Hunger, the Fund for Armenian Relief, and other international organizations. At the Council of Europe, she contributed to drafting the Recommendation on Rural Youth and supported the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of Armenia in advancing youth and education policy. Her wider portfolio has focused on rural youth policy, displacement, education reform, and inclusive development.
