Last week E-center hosted Boris Kolonitsky, professor of the faculty of history at European University at St. Petersburg. He gave public lectures on historical and historical-political topics, in Yerevan.
Briefly about it;
On 27th May Kolonitsky presented a public lecture titled ‘’The forgotten war? The Memory of World War I in the USSR and the Post-Soviet Space’’ at the History Museum of Armenia.
On 29th May at Common ground library professor presented the book ‘’Words and Conflicts: The Language of Confrontation and the Escalation of the Civil War in Russia’’, he also presented books published by the Faculty of European University.
Boris Kolonitsky delivered an open lecture on the topic “Lenin as a place of memory in post-Soviet Russia” on June 1, at E-Center.
Kolonitsky’s visit to Armenia and his lectures were organized by the joint efforts of the European University at St. Petersburg and EUSP Center for International Education (E-Center).
